Great shot of a clean Conrail SD50. I miss it too.

Little late to the show, but on a road trip up to Iron River Wi and found these guys hanging out at a railway mueseum! had to pull over and grab a picture!

Its up in Trego Wi. I guess the run excursion trains out of there with F units but did not see any that day. Also behind it was a very long string of frieght cars ( maybe in storage ) they all looked like they were modern but they have been sitting there since I can remember going up there. Theres probably 200 cars in a row, broken up at the crossings. Not sure why their there. Now looking at google earth, It looks like theres another meuseum about 5 miles south next to an abandoned roundhouse. Going to have to stop there my next time up!

Never too late for a show Ringo!

It's a good thing you caught that because no one else did with the exception of the people you were there with.

Certainly looks, ...sounds good to me

Three Buffalo & Pittsburgh SD45s leading a train earlier this summer...in Vidalia, Georgia?

Turns out that the G&W sent a few BPRR units down to the Georgia Central.  Not that odd.  What is odd, though, and seemingly improbable: my wife is from Vidalia and the next town over is Lyons, GA.  My mother-in-law's family is in Lyons.  I'm from Butler, PA, where the home shop for these BPRR locomotives is.

For extra fun, BPRR 458 is the trailing unit through Coal Hollow, PA at the last modular show I was able to attend before the pandemic.

Being that I am a long back admirer of orange and black Great Northern color scheme.  Those diesel locomotives look really good Nittany.

And that Georgia Vidalia Sweet Onion I wait for every year to get seasonally, ...SuperbSmile, Wink & Grin

I give thanks for that

Here is some weird looking techno-toaster on wheels I saw at the NORFOLK SOUTHERN yard in Bluefield, West Virginia.

...I miss Big Blue! Ed

I could give you a link to it, but don't want to get in trouble here. Smile, Wink & Grin

Instead, here's a bit of the one to which you're referring, captured quite a few years ago, a couple of miles from where I live, here in southern Ontario...

I miss stuff too, but from a bit further back (late '60s or early '70s, I think)...

...while this one's from one of a few summers in the mid-70s, when she was used as the regular power on the Wednesday & Saturday trains between Toronto and Niagara Falls, normally covered by RDCs...

...these views were taken on the layover and turn-around near the Falls...

...while this one was a fan trip, on a different line...

I like big blue Ed.  Being that I model Great Northern-Northern Pacific, I don't have the Big Blue loco, (maybe I should get one) but I do have Conrail Rolling Stock.

I swear that water tower had two onions to the left side of Vidalia Nittany.  Little blurry, couldn't quite tell

Always liked the Horse Logo on Northfolk and Southern Kevin.  I have a few but I missed out on a really cool one.

That drab green Canadian Steamer is Choice Wayne.  I'd like to get my hands on that one to model.

I do like BLUE!

With that I will post Green Machine Again!

GREEN MACHINE!
