Oldest train station in US.   They got the grant to save it. Which is great.    As it can also be put back into use.   A lot of appartment and condos going up over in that area

A realist sees a frieght train

I think that is pretty cool!  Do know if maybe a web site? or something might be set up to follow along, and check out progress?

The oldest station in the country?  I suppose!  Somebody must have researched it.

My thoughts is I hope they open it to the public instead of keeping it private like some oranizions do even after saying it will be open to the public..

Be nice if they filled it with historic photos and relics.

I watched the video, which is a video of a news broadcast, and SEPTA says their are going to work with the Shawmont community, as far as the best use.

I guess we'll see.
