It sat outside for a really long time. Because of the climate, the rust damage wasn't too bad compared to if it had been at the beach or somewhere with high humidity or lots of rain. When they put it in the park I don’t think they ever planned on it running again so it just sat there without anybody taking care of it. If you see it today you would know what a great job they did restoring it. Now it runs a few times every year. I’ve seen it several times. It’s pretty nice.
