I've got a Reading Proto 2000 GP30 (from the Lifelike era of P2K, in the yellow/green Reading scheme from the 1960s to early 1970s). The handrails are green. This doesn't seem right to me, as every RDG GP30 photo I've seen has yellow handrails. Can anyone tell me if Lifelike erred on the handrail color, or if one or more RDG GP30s (or other RDG yellow/green diesels) did get green handrails? Thanks very much.
They're supposed to be yellow. LL messed it up.

How could LL screw up such an easy thing as correct colored handrails? I mean come on!
Rarely does anyone have it fully correct, expecially with dark schemes where the vertical handrails are supposed to be a contrasting color. And some will say that the locos were delivered before that rule went into effect -true, but then they have other details that indicate the loco is modeled as it appears AFTER that date.
Heck the first gen Geeps from P2K all come set to run short hood forward. At the time, probably 90%+ of railroads ran them long hood forward. They have the proper decals on, with the F being on the long hood end, but the motor is wired and the crew figures places running short hood forward. Why?
