I would like to obtain some original recording(s) (any format) of passenger station platform announcements for train departures and arrivals, etc. I want to upload the recordings to a proprietory digital announcement system that I have recently purchased from a supplier in the US. The system permits the user to record custom data onto the equipment.
I am modelling the Union Pacific (SP, DRG&W, WP and CB&Q, etc.) during the transition period in the central/western divisions, so I would ideally like to get some recording(s) relevant to that period and region.
Please let me have any suggestions for any source of suitable material, even if it is not from the transition period. Many thanks
