Any real difference between GP20 and GP30 prime mover sounds?

So I have a GP30 sound set for my SDH166D decoder.  Would there be any real difference between these two locomotives to merit a change in sounds?  One is 567D2 Turbo, and one is 567D3 Turbo.  Was there really a difference sound wise?

Not so as you would actually notice. Slight difference in horsepower, no real differences in the design.

The 2,000 hp GP20 has a V16-567D2 prime mover.  The later 2,250 hp GP30 has a V16-567D3 prime mover - No real difference in the actual sound of the prime mover.

What is different is the traction motor blower sound, both not enough to notice in an HO sound system!

Thanks, I guess that would be my next question is what other sounds might be different between the two.  Obviously the horns, but I'm guessing others might be different as well.

Horns were either ordered by the railroad, or added by them after the engine was delivered. It's not really connected to the type of engine; a GN GP-30 might not have the same horn as a New York Central GP-30, but a NYC GP-20 and GP-30 probably would have the same horn.

The engines in question were made about the time railroads started to change from the single-bell "blat" airhorn to the multiple 3- or 5-chime horn. Quite likely some were delivered with single-chime horns, and a few years later converted...although I think Soo Line GP-30s kept their blat horns til the end.

Yes,The GP20 sounded like a GP9 and  GP18 while the GP30 had a similar but,deeper sound with a turbocharged whistle. There was no mistaking a GP30 for a GP20.
