I'm told three were red with the PC logo; one was numbered 4219; anyone know the numbers or the other two?
There were plenty of "patched" Tuscan PRR E7s & 8s like this one...

By the same token there were quite a few New York Central E's still in gray even into the mid 1970s with just a quickie patch job. Especially the E7s like 4219, that were being quickly scrapped and P-C didn't have the cash for repainting the entire locomotive.

The units I am interested in were painted a fresh, new coat of Tuscan Red and proper full-sized PC worms logos applied.
I don't recall any being painted as such.

There were, of course, the New York Central Century Green E8s 4053 and 4083 along with E7-B 4108 done in 1961 as a trial along with gray, 4052, 4055 and 4080, but that isn't what you're looking for.
Maybe others have some insight...
