The lack of response would seem to indicate that no one is.
My grandparents lived in Joliet, and a number of relatives worked for the "J". I spent many a hot summer's day at the Joliet Swim Club beach. The j's mainline ran just on the other side of the lake.
i thought about modeling the EJ&E and went so far as designing a basement layout of the line from Joliet east to Porter, IN with all of the myriad interchanges. Never got off the drawing board because I decided it would be more layout than I could build or maintain.

Thanks for responding Ray. I model a small section of the "J" near the siding at Sun Steel in Chicago Heights. I saw a lot of orange locos near my old fishing hole near Sun Steel!

If you ever want to sell the center cab I will buy it! Lived near the J till I moved out of my parents home. Dont model it but love the rr. Can still hear the sound of the center cabs hitting the crossing at JB tower.
I like the center cab also. Who makes that model? I currently only have 3 EJE locos; my favorite of the 3 is a Bowser model of a VO1000.
I think one of the guys I met at a Free Mo event in Van Wert, OH was interested in the EJ&E. You might want to ask your question on the Yahoo Group for Western Reserve Free Mo (and the other local groups...SE Michigan Free Mo and Michiana Free Mo).

Try the following link to a railroad in South East Michigan.
John has the entire J in his basement.

ejemanWho makes that model?
Do you know---is CN repainting/patching most of the EJE rolling stock? I rarely seen any more J gondolas or coil cars go thru my town (Tolono, Il--central Ill )
