The fuel tanks (for running the cooling system) go under the floor between the truck and door on the B (brake wheel end) of the car. They both go on the same ends on opposite sides of the car. At least that's where mine went.

I just checked some photos in Canadian Rail Car Pictorial, Volume Six. They show the cars in the 230000 series to have the fuel tanks centred right under the plug doors on each side. Dang! Now I'll have to go back and change mine. (I got the book well after I had done the cars.)
