Might want to post this in the General Discussion section instead of the Proto-type section.  Smile, Wink & Grin

I have some of these somewhere in my detail parts boxes. They aren't "cylinders" but motor/generators. New York Central (for one) mounted them on some hood units that had Automatic Train Stop installed.

I'm not sure if mine were made by Custom Finishing. Check Details West, Cal Scale, (Bowser), Run-8 for possibilities.

When I find the ones I have I'll update my post.

Good Luck, Ed

Not meaning to vere off topic - but who died ? Custom Finishing Models purchased Custom Finishing by Bob Rzasa in November 2008 and has moved operations to the Wichita Falls, Texas area. Are you saying Bob died ???

Bowser (Toy Train Heaven) has a fairly large stock of Custom Finishing parts, Christian.  You may wish to contact them.

It took me a while but I found the ones that I bought 15 years ago. They are the Bob Rzasa castings #G-208

Here is a current link to the new owners. I'm sure you will be able to find what you are looking for. Download the .pdf catalog. They're on page 3 of the details catalog.

There is also an email link at the site. Try to contact James at Custom Finishing.

Have fun!

From what I know Bob Rzasa of Orange Mass died some time prior to the sale. I heard his family ran it after his death and then sold it to the new owner.
