does anyone know would the three alco c430 demonstrators allways have traveled together or could they have been split up to go to different roads. considering getting one in the demonstrator scheme for my freelanced road. thanks for any info.
Here's a shot of one with a not-littermate:
It's in Birmingham, Alabama in 1968. Since it's not in-train, it could be argued that it was separated from the others for maintenance. One can ignore such irritating assertions, of course.
