hoping someone here might know the heritage of this locomotive.I've done the basic google search and have posted this on some different internet forums. So here is what I know. 1. This was photographed on the Marcellus&Otisco Lake Railway@ Marcellus NY yard sometime in the mid30's-early40's. 2.M&OL never owned this locomotive, so I'm guessing its either a leased unit while #3 was down for some reason or before they recieved nyc #7185. 3. Engine # 3532 0-4-0t and the builder is unknown, maybe Vulcan.
DAN,
That engine is in the pic's on this site and more:

Hope that helps some.

Thanks Zstripe fore the reply and know that site very well. This is #3 that M&OL owned for 20+ years.
Dan, you should also post your inquiry on the Trains magazine part of the forums, under Steam & Preservation. A lot of the guys who frequent those forums don't make it over to the model train forums at all.
