I don't know about Domino Sugar cars in particular, but having researched sugar beet plants to better model one on my layout I found that these plants shipped out molasses in tank cars and could also ship out bulk sugar in covered hoppers.  I would think it quite reasonable to see Domino Sugar cars used for such operations at any sugar processing plant.

Any large operation that makes candy, cereal, or cake mix would probably receive sugar by the carload.  Examples would be Brach's, Hershey's, Post Cereals, Kellogg's, etc.

You can always model the beginning of the trip, such as the Domino Sugar plant in Baltimore.

I had to work there one time on one of the plant's turbine generators.  While the supervisor was showing me around, he got somewhat perturbed when I asked to see the part of the plant where they made Equal.

Maybe that's why I only worked there one time.

Holly Sugar had a gigantic plant in Manteca, California.  There plant was alongside the SP mainline and they received 100 to 125 car loads of sugar beets in sugar beet hoppers.  They shipped out their products in covered hoppes to companies like Heshey which has a plant in Oakdale, Califonia.

The molasses tank cars would also go to animal feed producers.
