Color info/cab photo needed for NYC #999 Empire State Express

Hello all :)

I am in need of a color plate, photograph, and/or diagram showing the color of #999. In the numerous B/W photos, it appears that the tender is black as well as the cab, but the boiler and cylinders appaer to be another color. Can anyone help me out? Seach in MSN availed nothing...

Also need a photo of the cab interior...

Thank you very much - I had no idea that she was still around. After I did a net search and came up with very little, I hastily concluded that she was scrapped long ago.

Unfortunatly there does not seem to be any page on the 999 itself, just the two Quicktime movies on the page you linked to, and my stupid computer cant play them. But I emailed the museum staff for some stills, and it will be interesting to see what they can send me (if anything).
