Viewing a YouTube video titled: "Southern Pacific SP Freight Trains - Eugene Oregon in 1990 -SD40T-2/Amtrak"
in the consist of one the manifests shown were a number of boxcars that I'd never seen. These cars had
smooth sides (no visible doors) with Southern Pacific in bold letters in the middle of the car. The numbers were
not legible so I couln't look them up in one of the rosters. Can anyone identify them from my description.
Also are there any known HO models?
Did they look like this?

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.
I don't have a leg to stand on.

dehusman Wood chip cars.
True. They're not boxcars, though. Technically, they're classified as gons.

I think Midwest railcar has a bunch of them now and leases them out for Construction debris removal

I picked up a couple of E&C Shops wood chip gons for the SP off Ebay, low price. They are smooth side, and easy to add additional detail parts to.
