SC Train Depots
Posted by jmbjmb on Monday, December 9, 2013 7:48 PM

In the latest video for the project railroad, Neil was showing some pictures of stations in South Carolina.  Thought I'd add these for others who may be interested.  The three showing the Union SC station so it at different times in it's life.  I really like the semaphore train order signals still showing in the 1971 photo.  The Lockhart Depot is where I grew up.  What's interesting is that A) it is truly the end of track, and B) sits on a levee with the track between the water and the depot.  For a time in the 50's my dad owned the Gulf station just visible in the photo.

SC Depots   (Ok, I'm not figuring out how to post pictures yet.)
