You've run into a common problem: F&C car kits are actually quite nice, but their directions suck. You basically have to do your own research on each kit to figure out how you should build it! I couldn't have said it better myself. I have built with resin before, and I cast some of my own stuff too, and the castings are near flawless, but the directions do suck. Thanks for the info!
