Mystery?? Ain't no mystery around here (Toronto, Ontario Canada)! <br /> <br />The F59PH is as common as flies here. They are the workhorse of GO Transit (http://www.gotransit.com) I even have a pro video tape of them being built at EMD London Ont. GO Transit bought about 48 of 'em (#520 thru #567, I think) to push/pull their beautiful UDTC/Bombardier double-decker commuter cars (see Athearn models). There was a big earthquake in L.A. (1989?) and GO lent some surplus consists to fledgling Metrolink.
