Does anyone know if the CSX Memphis Sub between Memphis and Bruceton, Tennessee has always been DTC (dark territory)?

The stretch between Bruceton and Nashville is mainly CTC until you go across the TN river, then it goes into Dark Territory and you must have permission from the yard master at Bruceton before you venture into it. To answer your question, I'm pretty sure the stretch between Bruceton and Memphis has always been dark.

Thank You for the response that'll make it a lot easier to wire the layout! No signal and all the turnouts are hand throws!
