atsf class bx 190 boxcars
Posted by tjsmrinfo on Friday, January 2, 2004 3:55 PM
I have an Accurail model of a Santa Fe class bx190 boxcar and was wondering if these cars had cushion coupler pockets like the Walthers product or regular draft gear with some other type of cushioning device. I have tried searching and asking the Santa Fe modellers historical society with no response from either site. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Oops, I was going to look it up in my bibliographic database of Santa Fe information but I don't seem to have anything on BX-190 class, apparently nothing published except what little info in the "number and class" book.

"Listing of Freight Cars by Class and Car Number 1906-1991" compiled by Larry Occhiello. Santa Fe Modelers Organization, Inc., Norman, Ok. and Santa Fe Railway Historical Society Inc.
