I have just jumped into the realm of DCC with the purchase of a Digitrax Zephyr System. I have the two Kato CP E8s in N Scale with the recommended Digitrax Decoders (I can't remember the model numbers off the top of my head but they are full functioned Series 3 FX decoders). My question is whether anyone can point me in the right direction as to what CVs and values I should program to give realistic control - top scale speed, momentum acceleration and deceleration etc - you get the picture! I also have a number of other N scale locomotives Eg Trainmaster, C Liners etc that I will have the same question for as I outfit them with decoders. Any help in the above would be much appreciated.
