well,
We never had the CB&Q bur you might consider the Oklahoma City area. I think there was a Rock Island junction in El Reno. my dream is to model OKC someday , but for know all I have is a 4x8.

I think the Rock Island and CB&Q also met at St Louis,Kansas City and Colorado Springs.I used to enjoy watching Rock Island trains alongI-70 in Kansas and Colorado

I think both roads (the CB&Q in the form of its Colorado & Southern subsidiary) ran into Denver. Denver also could give you D&RGW, UP and AT&SF for interchange.

I need and answer to one small Question except on the B R I between dallas and Houston texas where did the Rock Island and the C B & Q run into a large city other then Chicago which is too large for me to model I enjoy switching but i cant think of a place where they were both present ??? Thank You Gary Emmert
