Micro Engineering Flex track

I have a stack of Micro Engineering code 83 flex track with brown ties and weathered rails. In my opinion it looks the best of any flex track I've seen with nice thin rail, varying tie spacing, etc. Only problem is that it doesn't want to flex easily. Atlas flex track you can wiggle back and forth and it goes into nice gentle curves, but with the Micro Engineering, once you flex it, it's bent in that shape. Any hints or tips on working with this brand?
