I'm starting my first layout and have got it wired for DC operation. I have two engines and one works, but rather choppy (I have some electrical problems to work out!), but it works. The new engine I tried ( a Life-Like SW9 N-scale ) worked for about 30 seconds then stopped working. The front headlight still lights up but there is no movement! Any suggestions to help fix this? I haven't taken it apart because I can't figure out how to disconnect the body from the chassis! Please don't confuse me too much, I'm a noob!
