Was visiting Chicago and the Indiana Dunes area last weekend and thought this area would be really neat to model.

I'm not sure if anyone has ever attempted to model this prototype. It has interesting possibilities for industrial (Gary IN), scenic (Indiana dunes), and operations with overhead catenary (one of the last interurban lines in the US). Does anyone know if models of the unique electric commuter units are produced by anyone?

See here for more info: http://www.trains.com/Content/Dynamic/Articles/000/000/001/020bumjt.asp
OR
http://hometown.aol.com/metrafan/interxps.html
