Must be a super feeling to have the engines come to life again. I wonder how many here know of the DCC system you were talking about. Not many, I'll bet.

What are you running for motive power, Don? And decoders?

rIVER rAT jUNCTION rr HO 8 X 12 L shape Spent most of the day laying track on the outside main, including 4 turnouts to nowhere right now! Had all the cork roadbed already laid for the whole layout. Then dug out my old Command 2000 (DCC) and my old diesels (5 of them) and after years of not being used, they all ran like a charm. They were already programed. Just threw them on the track and the more I ran them, the better they got. I am sure everything is dried up in them and they could use some cleaning and a little lube bad.

But it felt great to see them run again. hooked up about 20 cars to them and watched them go round and round! lol no derailments at all. The only thing I need to do now is solder the track. Then one day soon I guess, start laying track on the inner main and then the yards.

Down the road will be a Zepher, sound engines and cameras in the cabs!
Mayby I will hit the Florida lottery tonight! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
