DCC QUESTION
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, April 17, 2005 11:39 PM
My Goodness. I'll get back again later. Really appreciate the comments from you folks. The engines that i'm going to put decoders in have never been run. They are from the mid 90's and include atlas, riverossie, bauchman spectrum , Ihc and athern. Was an elect. tech in the navy so can solder and read prints. Both diesel and steam. Will try again later when I can be more specific. Thanks so much again! DAN

Dan,

I would imagine then that you shouldn't have too much problem then. It would be good to know more specifics, since that will give some folks, who have that particular locomotive, a chance to share their experiences with installing decoders in each.

Dan, once you get up and going with your already purchased DCC system and a DCC-equipped locomotive, you'll wonder why anyone would want to run a layout any other way.
