I am building an N scale layout (total newb). I like the looks of the Atlas code 55 (brown ties). Is this good for a first layout i.e. switches, ease of layout, and compatability with other manufaturer in the same size? It is going on 2" foamboard, and I am also leaning towards geared switch motors with a bipolar power supply. Any advice from more exsperienced modelers would be truly appreciated. <br />Todd Brehmer.
