Looking for ideas on the best materials to use to split the middle of a 6 foot wide x 12 foot section into 2 - 3 x 12 sections The layout opens up wider after the 12 foot length so I need to end the divider somehow. I have access all around so the width is not an issue whatsoever. I want to keep the 6 foot piece in tact but just divide it to add twice the scene and interest. The train will cross through openings in the divider a number of times while on the 6 foot x 12 foot section. <br />I was thinking of placing a 2 foot high x 12 foot section out of plywood with 2 sides of Luan and then painting backdrop on each Luan side. One problem is how to end this divider "naturally" at the far end so I don't end up with a 2 foot piece of wood standing out like a sore thumb on the table. I suppose I could slope it down or ..... something. Would I be better to use foam or the plywood ? or ? I was also thinking of cutting the top of the divider ragged to make mountain peaks or .... something. <br /> Any ideas are welcome and thanks in advance.
