to the forum. This one runs on software that is probably like any other forum where you have posted pictures before
You have to post your pics on the Internet, some where where the rest of us don't have to login. That means no dropbox, google or facebook. You can't control V and paste a pic.
Imgur and Flickr work the best. Accounts are free. If you can find the BB-link, you can control V that directly in your post.

That's an ambitious undertaking for an 8x11 layout, even for N-scale.
I am an old south sider myself, having grown up not far from the BRC yard.
Do you have a proposed track plan for us to review?

Good morning and thanks for having me in your forum I am developing a track plan for a 8 x 11 N-Scale layout loosely based on the Belt Railway of Chicago. My layout is intended to have two trains running continuously using the provided loops but be able to enter the yard at either "end" of the layout and also reverse direction by using the reverse loops which also will serve to feed the 2 main yards and industry spurs. Please just consider the operational characteristics of the mainline. I grew up on the South Side of chicago and want to create a railroad that is a tangle of trackage, includes some south side neighborhoods, a little bit of the southern approach to downtown and the skyline of course. So, have at it people....
