You doan need no steenkin' fency pliers for settink treck nails...I use regalar blunt-nos-zed pliers.  Forst, poosh nail through tie, then poosh into cork...eazy to do.  When is setting hupright, take beeg fet pliers, then lay dem oafer nail head, den use heel of hends to poosh down wit body weight. 
It is workink effery time.
