I have the Walthers 130ft turntable in HO and my layout has code 83 Atlas track.
I am planning three parallel tracks leading to the turntable. My question is how to handle the curved sections entering the table (not the roundhouse tracks). Only two of the tracks will need curves. If not flex track, what straight and curved pieces can be used? I need a plan!
What is the minimum radius on your layout? With a 130 foot turn table I should think you would want to be able to turn some large locos. If you can, make the radius the same as your minimum, that way each lead track can hold your largest locos. Otherwise, only your straight lead track can handle your largest loco and the curved tracks can hold smaller locos. Unless you can make the curved tracks from 18 or 22 inch radius sectional track, you will need to use flexible track.
Hope this is helpful!

You need to treat the bridge track the same way that you would handle a straight turnout.
The approach tracks, even if curved, need to meet the bridge track connection in a straight manner.
