My old switching layout was aquired by the museum here and I was commisioned to build runaround loops so it could be driven by the staff.... :-)

I made the run around track behind the backdrop and made it a continental layout.... Colorado on the left (west) side and New England style on the right (east) side.

I think it will be a success with the visitors.

Some pics:

Some small things to do such as weather the fascia to make it look like the one on the original layout. There are some hundred or so trees to plant at the east coast side.....  Smile

Hi,

That is really nice, and quite a tribute to your modeling skills.

Question....... what kind of barrier will be used to keep folks from touching it?

ENJOY  !

Thanks! The barrier? I think the plexi glass that is mounted will suffice? ;-) You see the mounted plexi on the left side, it is now mounted on the rest of it as well.
