I would try nfmisso's approach. A good digital mulitmeter is a good investment if you are going to be doing a lot with electronics.

Bob;
Take a multi-meter scope them out, you'll find coil resistance (less than 10 ohms), near zero resistance and near infinite resistance, chart all the reasonable combinations, then manually flip the machine and repeat. This shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes.
Multi-meters can be had for less than $10 at Radio Shack, Sears, Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, Harbor Freight, etc.
If you want to send me one, let me know. (e-mail link below)

Would anyone happen to know where I could get a copy of the wireing instructions for a Kemtron, NJ International, or KTM, twin coil Switch Machine?
I have quite a few of the machines, but no instructions. I would like to use the contact blades for some lights. Without the instructions, I have not been able to figure out how to wire them.
If anybody might have a set of the instructions and could copy them for me, I would be happy to remburse all costs to you.
Thanks,
Bob
