Hi,

Im not only new to this forum, Im new to this hobby, I just retierd and decided to build an O gauge layout. Last night at the hobbyshop I bought two lionel lefthand switchers, and two righthand switchers, O gauge 31' path remote control. and enough track for one big oval, and one small oval (inside the big oval) and the switch tracks will alow the train to go from the big oval to the small oval, or I can run two trains at once, one on the big oval, and one on the small oval. Aside from the fact that I have no idea what Im doing, although Im sure I will learn all this stuff, Im not sure which transformer and controler I should get! Will the Z-1000 do the job if Im running two trains at once, and operating my switch tracks? The only loco that I have right now is a Lionell from a train set, but I do want to get an MTH steam loco. Also could you guys and gals please recommend a good book to help me through the wiering process, please remember that I really have no experiance doing this kind of thing, so the book would have to be real easy to understand. It's great to be a member of this forum, and I REALLY do APPRICIATE any advice you guys could give me.

Paul
