When installing plaster cloth, it;s a good idea to rub a finger over it gently before it dries, to seal the holes. That also seems to make it stronger. <br /> <br />That said, in your case it probably doesn't matter as far as holding the roadbed, but you probably should do whatever you're going to do before installing scenery, at least in the few inches near the roadbed, just so you don't mess up the roadbed and/or track later. <br /> <br />And yes, you can use Foam Tack Glue. But you'll have to weight or pin the roadbed down while the glue sets. <br /> <br />I use their low-temp glue gun to install the foam. You've gotta work with fairly small sections (a couple of feet or so), and do it quickly, but it sets in a minute or two, and you're done. <br /> <br />
