Hi CG <br /> <br />Two of the best kits I am aware of for funky looking stiff leg derricks are: <br /> <br />Schomberg Scale Models: This is a derrick run by a flathead V8 on a wooden sled. Nice parts and castings. <br /> <br />Keil Line Models: Great detail, but not sure if they have the kit in HO. check Valley Model Trains. This kit is worth the money. Make sure you use elastic thread to represent your cables. It stretches nicely. <br /> <br />Shayon30
