It looks like you have a pretty good handle on things. My observations are:

1) the canyon you have...it looks like a pretty steep grade on both ends, any idea what your grade is? Have you checked clearances beneath the bridges? It's hard to tell, but it looks like you may have a little problem there.

2) You have a few areas where clearance between tracks looks close, for example when you come out of the tunnel, the track that was running in front of the mountain comes mighty close to the tunnel track. Could be a perspective issue on my end.

3) Looks like it's just a roundy round. Any plans for industries, or a yard? I like to watch trains go round and round, but all the fun is in the switching, keeps you busy and interested. I have both on my yet to be built layout.

4) you like crossovers, nothing wrong with that, just an observation.

When is the first operating session? [:)]

Thank you for your reply Glenn,,
I've ran a test and yes the tracks seem close in some cases but theres just enough room,,im not sure on the grade of the steep but i ran a test and its fine i have a double engine that will ride on the line and theres no problem there...there will be three trains running at the same time on this layout i will have one run all the time and the other two i will switch i have a small yard at the other end of the table you just cant see it right now to much junk on the table :) thank you again for your comments

It looks like a nice layout. (I can't wait till mine is to that stage)
I had a question on your turn radius. In one of the pictures that shows the whole layout The inner turn (right by the blue shopping bag in photo) looks a bit tight. Does it work ok? I was wondering what is the tightest turn radius you have.

I really like the lower track with the two crossing over it. Keep updating the pictures for us!

ALRIGHT. I love the deep canyon. Looks like plaster cloth scenery. Nice job. Now the fun part with trees. I will be interested in what area you are modeling and how many of what trees you use. Good work.
If you think you have it right, your standards are too low. my photos http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a235/ARTHILL/ Art

Also going up the mountain next to the tunnel you have a pretty good S curve. If you plan on running cars longer than say, 50 feet you might want to smooth that out.

thank you all for your comments,, ill try to answer your questions

Tukaram:: the turn radius works good its 4 18 radius tracks with a 3inch straight at the top of the turn i've already ran my cars on the whole track before i started the senery so far so good some areas look tight but all is good i designed the track with atlas free track design from there site its a good program it got the job done for me

ARTHILL:: I grew up here in florida so there will be lots of trees grass and open fields but i also travel with my job and i love mountains and canyons so im pretty much modeling fla landscape with a little extra stuff like the mountain and the cayon I know i should prob stick with one theme but i really injoy all types of landscapes im a photographer so i see a lot of beautiful landscapes and i wanted to capture all that in my layout at least try to :)

Thanks again guys for all your comments i really do enjoy reading them

[bow][bow][bow] [tup] [swg] [8D] [wow] [yeah] [:D] Looks like you have done a lot of work. The only thing I see is you need to paint or weather your track.Since you have it already laid you can brush paint it or tape everything and spray it.walmart spray paint works good or ofcourse airbrushing.

I was gonna kick some comments about the track plan, but if you dig itm that is all that matters. Its a definte railfan track plan. Kick back with a cold one and watch them run.
heck, with all those diamonds, that will be enough to keep you on your toes make sure they all have open running. I dig it.

Best Regards, Big John
