Hello,
You all have been fantactic in the past with help. i need some more if you will. I have a brand new Bachmann, HO scale, USRA 2-6-6-2, now I have about 60 decoders to add to each one of my engines. Mantua (older steam) was super easy for all my steam locos. and they work great, same with the rest. now Im stuck on 2, snf unfortunatly No Diagrams to Do it Correctly. here are the engines I need help with.
The first and worst is: Bachmann, HO scale, USRA 2-6-6-2. I have the tender off and looked at the wiring now it says here in a writing ( and no diagrams, unless im crazy) but it said that "receptacle is concealed inside the tender, and there’s space for a decoder above the PC board" ok fine, but WHERE?? I looked till i was blue in the face and 3 pots of coffee. and I donty see any receptical anywhere. I see a board, but not a place to plug into it, or to hard wire it at all. and trying to find a scmatic on the net is like finding a grain of salt in a bowl of sugar.

On the main board, there is a dummy plug (small board with 8 pins in a 2 x 4 configurations, or may be a combination of boards and/or jumpers plugged into the main board).
See photo 3 here: http://www.members.shaw.ca/sask.rail/dcc/2-8-0/index.html
Remove the dummy plug, and plug in the decoder of your choice. That is it.
