Help please
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, December 30, 2005 12:31 PM
I'm looking for an LED source that I've seen mentioned on this forum, I have it bookmarked in work, It's driving me nuts. The site is nothing but LEDs for model trains. I've Googled & searched this forum but have had no luck. I could wait until Monday when I'm back at work but... IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!

Thanks
Pat

I wasn't aware that there are any high voltage LEDs. I thought they all operate at 1.5 volts, hence the need for a resister. If you are going to operate at a higher voltage, you would need either a higer value resister or hook a number of LEDs in series so that each one still sees only 1.5 volts.

Is this the site you were looking for?
http://www.theledlight.com/
They've got 120 volt LED lamps listed there.
