Bachmann Spectrum "Baldwin 4-6-0, please advise, best sound decoder that fits

Hi guys

My wife really wanted to make me happy since I just started in the hobby. She gave me a Bachmann Spectrum "Baldwin 4-6-0 Loco" I told the LHS that she would be coming in, and to steer her to DCC with sound, but things did'nt go as planned.
So I will be doing my first decoder installation--I hope--. Can anyone give me advice as to which decoder might fit. Hopefully someone out their did this installation.

You're probably going to be limited to only a SoundTraxx LC decoder or an MRC. Personally, I would never consider an MRC decoder of any type because the ones I have had experience with are worthless.

Check Tony's Train Exchange, Loy's Toys, or Litchfield Station for SoundTraxx LC decoders. And don't forget to purchase a 1" round or oval speaker, because they do not come with the decoder.

I just spoke to Tony's and he quoted $170 to put a Tsunami in my high boiler Bachmann 4-6-0.

i'm not sure of the sixe of the soundtraxx LC , but the MRC is about a 1/4" longer than the Tsunami
