Wallpaper scenary....does it exist? (N-Scale)
Posted by CrazyDiamond on Monday, December 5, 2005 4:36 PM
Hi all,

I think I will have my home RR run along some walls in the house, and in many places the width of the layout will be minimal. I got to thinking that would not leave much room for scenary.

Then it struck me.....does anyone specifically make wallpaper scenary for model RRers?? If I could get some city, country, and mountain scenary wallpaper that would be awesome!! Ideally it would only be a couple of feet high....kinda like a banner running along the wall.

If you know of a company that does make the stuff let me know, and if you can post a web link that would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Try this place

The stuff is a bit pricy, but it's the best.

They have factory seconds sometimes too. That will save you some change.

Some time ago when I was in a pet store, I saw rolls of backdrops, apparently intended for use with aquariums. They had desert scenes, mountain scenes, and others, in 12", 18" and 2' widths by the roll so you could get as long a piece as you wanted. I couldn't help thinking they would make great scenic backgrounds for a model RR. What I couldn't figure out was what one would want with a desert scene behind a tank filled with water, but then my pet is a cat, not fish (unless he gets hungry [}:)]).
