Well, you are already off to a great start.

Before we can really help you we need to know the answers to a few questions;

How much space do you have?
What is your intrest: protptype or free-lanced?
DCC or no?
What era: Steam/disiel etc...(you already have a disiel so you may just go in that direction...........)
Do you have a plan in mind?

There are a lot more questions to answer I am sure, but this is a start.

btw this is brian again, not jeff. Maybe I should get my own.........

First the style - table or shelf around the room or a combination.
Second - Flat or mountains and tunnels
Then draw a plan. I put mine full size on the floor with masking tape (Blue)
The make a table - L girder for mountains unless using Woodland Scenics style
If you have read some "getting starte" books, you can move on to specific questions. We can be more helpful then.
If you think you have it right, your standards are too low. my photos http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a235/ARTHILL/ Art
