I wouldn't worry about it.

Besides, my first website was the worst ever and so that guy is just flat out wrong.

I get this all the time, we have 5 websites and 2 stores. if they can not run it the way THEY want it is the worst site ever. i have reached a point where i tell them if it is that bad, do you want to fix it for FREE and i will back charge you for downtime on the site. Shuts them up quick.

These are the worst sites ever acording to some people. Hey, they work, they make me money, no big deal.
If you have a website you need a VERY thick skin or it will get to you.

Hi Keith, there may be another reason, I'm afraid I was a little upset at the first screen that showed. It was something about supporting a Porn site and that would be enough to get you banned on some other forums. I have a site on Freewebs also and have not come across this problem. Try as I might I could not get the screen to reappear by clicking on the link. A hacker may have infiltrated the Freewebs accounts and placed pop ups. That someone who gave you the poor report may have gotten the same result as I did when clicking on your link.
I'll check your site occaisonaly for you and if it happens again I'll try to get a screen capture ( I won't be as shocked next time around) You seem to have a good start on your website, just keep adding to it as you go along, everything takes time and work, you're doing OK.

CSX, I won't look, but I'm sure you can safely rely on nibbler's suspicion...he saw what he saw. So, you may have to e-mail the webmaster at that host and relay your problem to him. Otherwise, you will continue to get P O'd people blasting you for luring them in.

Ok I hit it again, however screen capture was a .prn file which I can't seem to do much with now. The above link is what I'm getting different advertisments with when I click on your link at times that's where it goes for a very short duration. I honestly don't know what's going on with your link but the introduction seems to be advertising sponsered by Freewebs, guess you'll have to live with it, next time I hit it I'll paste it to the Paint program I believe that will work

Seems to me it was pasted on a background like this one, that I got from your site, LOL I'm 70 years old so it was more shock than interest to me. Been a long time but I figured out how to capture it to a picture file. If I come across it again I'll copy it and email it to you so you can lodge a complaint with Freewebs, I'd be pretty sure they are not aware of an add like that being slipped in.

Every website attracts maggots who post nasty comments if there's an area where they can. Don't take any of it seriously.

What's wrong with being a computer dweeb? I'm pretty happy being a train dweeb. Anyone else agree?

i love being a dweeb period, that might be because i'm still cool even though i have nerdy hobbies and other cool people have nerdy hobbies too, plus i get something special that other people can't do. i'm really open about my hobbies with other people( ok i'm in highschool so that can be scary) but i know alot of people who arn't. like when i went over to my friends for the first time, who never shows any interest in any kind of model type hobby, but to my surprise, the first thing i saw in his house was slot car track lying all over the basment floor, and we played with it all night and had tons of fun, but it was such a surprise seeing someone who never showed any intrests in that kind of hobby all of sudden change like that and spend all night with it. i think everyones a nerd in their own way and have their own nerdy hobby, but very few ever reveal it.

CSX,
Your site is a good start to a really good website. Keep working on it. Good luck, Dave

Andrew you can not have a website like you want unless you go with a PROVEN host that watches out for its customers. There are many SAFE webhosts out there that nix PORN 100% and will not allow them to be on their servers. You have a good idea you just need to find a good HOST.

Sorry guys to old for dweeb, is was a nerd in high school because I went to learn. That was 40+ years ago. All the other nerds are like me own a business and retired at 55. Being a nerd "dweeb" is a good thing. My nerdism allows me to be where I am today.

Hi Andrew, your site comes right up without the pre advertisement same as mine. I have no idea of why he has that going on unless it was something he checkmarked for on his setup. In fact I haven't come across that before
