need lots of help new to trains

just built good sized bench work having trouble trying to fit a good track plan to it my be doing it all wrong
HO code 83 Pekco flex track
bench work 22ft x 17ft with 2x9ft coming of the 17ft section
would post a plan but dont know how too
any help would be welcome

As far as posting pics on the forum, what you need to do first is set up an account with a web host who will allow you to upload your pictures to their server. I have a FREE one with Railimages.com, but there are also others, as well. (Photobucket, Shutterfly are a couple that immediately come to mind.)

When you get your account activated, you can immediately upload your pics to their site. Once your pics are uploaded, then all you need to do is to copy the web address of the picture and paste it into the body of your post in the following fashion:

["img]http://www.???.jpg[/img"] (remove the quotation marks)

The web address for the picture can be accessed by right clicking the picture with your mouse, click "Properties", find "Location", and copy (or Ctrl+C) the entire "http://..." address and paste it in your post, as described above. Bigdeg, test it out yourself by clicking the picture at the bottom of my post. If you run into any problems, just holler and we'll walk you through it

but not good with computers or net find it all too hard to follow at times why isent any thing simple

I struggled with pics for weeks. I suggest you go back and read all the threads on posting pics over the last few weeks. I finally figured it out. I use photobucket and it is easy once I figured it out. My first pics are there today.

If you want to start this big, try out methods that you find here off your layout before applying them!
unless when you started this topic you meant new to trains.com, not trains in general
