pics - new scratch built building

HO 8X 12 L shape - River Rat Juction RR Almost finished the Sarasota Seafood Company. Need to fini***he clock tower, windows and a real clock I thought of buying a cheap womens watch and putting it in the clock tower. No dock activity yet. need to put in the figures, fish crates etc and hook up the lights. Make it busy looking!

The work boats were cheap Toys R US boats I bought for $.98 cents. I haven't started working on those yet. No water yet also.

The other photo is from the other direction of the North yard! still needs alot of work,. but found that working on just a little section of the layout and getting that section to look decent is the way to go. Sense of getting something done, I guess. The rest of the layout still is bare but I have trains running on the main lines. So when I get tired of building, I run the trains. When I get tired of running the trains, I start building again!

Hope you enjoy the pics.

Thanks, DON

It all looks good. Must have taken some time, though. A lot of good work there.

That's a busy layout you have there. Nice work on the scratch built.

Nice work, how long have you been building this? I like your idea of construction and operate. After I redeisgn the aisle for the BIG BUTT problem I hope to get into more construction than CAD. Again nice work.

Reminds me of the Franklin & South Manchester railroad. Very nice job indeed!

Great job on the building. Even better on the placement. It gives the impression of a very busy cramped waterfront area.
