I know, Trev. What do we amusement seekers do when Mouse or Jarrell are away? This time, it seems BOTH are away!!!!!!! We need someone, maybe jfugate, to get a buzz in here by telling us he's fed up with the whole thing and going into stained glass.

It's a sign....

The powers that be are saying....

"Get off your computer and go out to the trainroom and work on trains".

Scared me off? Hah!!
No, I've been working on that honeydo list that was getting longer and longer and I had a photo job that I had to complete (still not completely done though). I did get the WS risers and inclines glued to one another and hopefully in the next few days I can get to work on the incline from hell again. The wife mentioned something about painting the master bathroom though, so..... heck so it's been 17 years between paint jobs!
Anyway, I did play around with shooting pictures late last night..

Maybe next week things will settle down again and I can devote more time to the important stuff, like model railroading.

We're not going to talk about soldering. I wonder though, am I the first person to have ever soldered the coil of solder to the track?
The foam cutting for the incline has to wait until I get that track meandered juuuuuussst right on it. I've almost decided to use hydrocal soaked paper towerls (can't we condense that to hspt?) , since its going to be a boogerbear to cut the foam to exactly fit beside the wandering track.
Well, back to the work list!

hardly !
i think everyone manages to do that at one time or another . i think the first time i did it was when building a heathkit guitar amplifier about 25 years ago . it's not that hard really , you just need to try soldering to something that sucks up more heat than you think it will , then apply the solder at the wrong (right?) time .

Jarrell,

Glad you dropped in to update us. As it turns out my wife has me doing a honey-do also. The annual Grage cleaning...and its 34 degrees celcius here inToronto! I think that's lo 90's...not sure for my US friends. Not hot by some standards but we have massive humidity on top of that...

Anyway, get to work on the Honey do, and when that's all done, we'll look forward to more of your progress reports.

Yep, that would be the low 90s alright. And its not the temp that'll get you but the humidity AND the temp. High humidity and temperatures are the every day norm here in Georgia, but I just can't take it anymore, not like I could 30 years ago [:(]
Hopefully, painting the bathroom won't take long.
Yeah right.
