I'm not sure why no one answering. It is easy to make any fasttrack piece a terminal, all pieces have provision underneath to add wire with push on terminals . or you can solder them on. I would start by dividing the layout into 4 and adding 3 more power drops. Also try cleaning with cleaning fluid of a very light abrasive scotchbrite. On my Lionel set I find areas of varying speed becasue I live in an old house and it is not level. All that sadi you may want to repost on the Classic Toy Trains forums thats where all the Larger scale guys and gals hang out. Sorry you were ignored, Fast Track is still kind of new and unknown to smaller scale guys. I do "N" and "O" so I understand. Dave
