Ultimately, trains on my N scale Muddy Creek will reach Lake Champlain, Lake Ontario or The Saint Lawrence River. At one of those places will be a dock to transfer lumber and ore to ships I'm looking at this section being a smaller 2'x10' HO switching layout in another room completely, with staging representing the N Scale Empire next door. This way I can get my fill of complicated switching activities in a larger scale in a smaller area in more highly detailed scenes. The same little cars that leave the mountains arrive at the docks about twice as big as when they left home. Don't ask me how. I think it is forcing perspective to the extreme. Wayne
