DPM HO townhouse backdrop buildings are about 4 3/4 inches high. I make side walls of varying depths (about 1/4 to 1inch) and add front shrubs/gardens/sidewalks/fences, etc and in between the houses as well. By painting the same kit of 3 building faces differently, they look individual. Anyway, an urban street might have two house the same in realtime. They are good value I believe and you could do the same with any of their kits by using both front and back sides as a lateral backdrop facade. don
